COURSE SUMMARY

This course is delivered as a workshop enabling students to interact with the trainer on all levels throughout the day.  It is aimed at an introduction / beginner level for those working in private practice without IT administrative support.

This course will support delegates to understand the legal requirements when handling personal and sensitive information and how to mitigate the personal and professional risk when communicating with clients by electronic means and processing client data.

During the course we will help explain the EU's new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which comes into force in 2018.

In associate with I-Storage, a global leader in the development and manufacture of PIN protected hardware encrypted data storage devices.  We will be able to give you hands on experience of using devices that can support your practice / clinics data security management.
